We at Boss Works LLC (“BW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) value the privacy of individuals who use the BW website at bossworks.ai and the BossWorks app (together, “the Application”) and the services offered on the Application (“Services”).

This Privacy Policy describes the information we gather, how we use and disclose it, and the steps we take to protect it. By visiting the Application and/or using the Services, you have provided your informed consent to the privacy practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

While using the Services, we may ask for personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) such as your name, address, email address, location, payment information, and governmental identification. You may provide this when registering, using the Services, contacting support, or signing up for marketing material.

Usage Information

We collect information about how you interact with the Services — device type, IP address, operating system, browser type, activity on our website, access dates and times, location, and transaction-related information. We use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, browser analysis tools, server logs, and mobile identifiers. We do not track users across third-party websites and do not process “do not track” signals.

Third-Party Cookies

We may use third-party services such as Google, Facebook, and Intercom, which use cookies to collect information about you. BW does not control cookies placed by third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of such third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use your information to communicate with you, fulfill contractual obligations, provide customer service, process transactions, send security alerts and administrative messages, detect and prevent fraud, operate and improve the Services, troubleshoot errors, personalize your experience, and develop new features.

Sharing Your Information

We may share information with third-party partners and vendors who perform services on our behalf; as required by law or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of BW, our users, or others; and in connection with any merger, sale, or acquisition of business assets. Nothing herein restricts sharing of aggregated or anonymized information.

2a. AI Features and Data Processing

The BossWorks app includes AI-powered features (Agent Chat, Global Chat, and Funding Chat). When you use these features, functional content such as messages and task information is transmitted to BossWorks backend services for processing.

Before accessing any AI Feature for the first time, you will be presented with an explicit consent dialog. You must actively accept this consent to use AI Features.

Third-Party AI Providers

BossWorks works with OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), and Google (Gemini) to power AI features. These providers act as data processors on our behalf.

What We Do Not Do

We do not transmit personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or phone number to any third-party AI providers. We do not use your data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning models.

2b. Analytics and Product Experience Tools

We use Netcore (Smartech) for analytics and marketing engagement. Netcore may collect usage and behavioral data to help us understand user engagement. See Netcore's Privacy Policy for details.

3. How We Protect Your Information

We use firewalls, password protection, SSL encryption, and other security measures to protect Personal Information. We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements — typically up to seven years.

All third-party service providers and AI infrastructure partners are required to maintain data protection standards equivalent to or greater than those described here. No security measures are perfect. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

4. International Transfers and Your Rights

European Users

If you use the Services from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you are transferring your Personal Information to the United States. We offer EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Model Clauses) included in our Data Protection Addendum. We may share Personal Information with third parties and may be required to disclose information to public authorities for national security or law enforcement.

Other International Transfers

If located outside the US, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your Personal Information may be processed in the US or other countries where we operate.

Your Rights

Individuals in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland have statutory rights to access, update, delete, or correct personal data. You can usually do this through your account settings or by contacting us at support@bossworks.ai.

5. Specific Clauses for Specific States in the USA

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents may request information about the categories of Personal Information we collect, the sources, the purposes, the categories shared or sold, and the third parties involved. You have the right to access, limit processing of sensitive data, and be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. To submit a request: support@bossworks.ai.

Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia Residents

Residents of these states have rights to access, opt-out of profiling, protect sensitive data, and appeal our decisions under their applicable state privacy laws. To submit a request: support@bossworks.ai.

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it as soon as possible.

7. Accessing and Modifying Your Information

If you have an account, you can access and modify your Personal Information in your profile settings or by emailing us. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. To request account deletion and removal of all associated data, contact support@bossworks.ai.

8. Changes and Updates

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. Please revisit this page periodically. We will indicate the date of the latest revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
